San Francisco-based performance poet Daphne Gottlieb stitches together the ivory tower and the gutter just using her tongue. She is the author of Kissing Dead Girls (Soft Skull Press, 2008), Final Girl (Soft Skull Press, 2003), Why Things Burn (Soft Skull Press, 2001) and Pelt (Odd Girls Press, 1999). Final Girl was the winner of the Audre Lorde Award in Poetry from the Publishing Triangle in 2003, and was also shortlisted for the Bram Stoker Horror Writing Award in Poetry and the Lambda Literary Award for Lesbian Poetry. Additionally, Final Girl was named one of the the Village Voice's 25 Favorite Books of 2003, and received rave reviews from Publisher's Weekly, the San Francisco Chronicle and the Village Voice.

Steven Clark

Steven Clark's Amok Time, an operatic reimagining of the pivotal Star Trek episode, first premiered at Goat Hall's Fresh Voices Festival in 2006 and has since grown into a YouTube hit. This performance brings together the original cast.
