Everyone Loves Grain

Everyone loves grain and
In fairness this year’s rye crop
Has veered only between go
And go fast. In the evenings
Spectators, juniper-tongued
In their praise gather at
The mouth of the fields to view
Waves that leave amber in the
Dust. In the end, there are
Two kinds of people:
Those who love grain
And those who love it enough.
